The Knights of Peter Claver and Ladies Auxiliary of Zone 4 came together on Nov. 8 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Huntsville to honor deceased Knights and Ladies with a Memorial Mass. Salvatorian Father Joe Lubrano, pastor of St. Joseph, celebrated the Mass and Deacons Rufus Biggs and Jacky Rodgers assisted. Providentially, the Mass occurred the day after the organization marked its 116th founding anniversary. The deceased were honored by symbolically lighting a candle representing their council or court, which included Archbishop Thomas J. Toolen - Council #140, Saint Cecilia - Court #140, Monsignor John J. Raleigh - Council #148, Saint Jude  - Court #148, Father Edgar Ryan - Council #272, Father Edgar Ryan - Court #272, Charles C. Smoot - Council #286, Saint Francis of Assisi - Court #286, Father Manuel Williams – Council #345, and Father Manuel Williams – Court #345.
