History making school opens doors to new chapter

Since its inception, Holy Family School in Huntsville has continued to grow and resonate with its community, promoting faith-based academic excellence while championing diversity and inclusivity. What started in an old mansion on the parish grounds of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was the first integrated elementary school in the state of Alabama is being revitalized with the construction of a new state-of-the-art education facility.

Having broken ground over a year ago, the academic wing is reaching finalization, and after much anticipation, the wing is ready for students.

On Nov. 14 at 4:30 p.m., the school will host an open house until 6 p.m. with tours of the new facility being offered. The school is located at 2300 Beasley Drive, Southwest. For more information, please visit www.holyfamilyschoolhsv.org.
