John Carroll Catholic High School senior Owen Muro was recently selected to be a member of the Mississippi State University Marching Band, playing trumpet beginning Fall 2026. Muro is a graduate of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic School and a member of the parish. He is the son of Mark and Allison Muro of Birmingham.
