Hearts open, lives touched at OLS blood drive

Our Lady of Sorrows Parish’s Knights of Columbus–American Red Cross blood drive on May 17 brought in 29 units of blood, thanks to donations from parishioners and community members. These contributions will help keep the blood supply steady as summer approaches, which sees many regular donors away on vacation. Donors and their families were also treated to a hot breakfast prepared and served by the Knights. The parish’s next blood drive is scheduled for Aug. 30.
