The diocesan Office of Hispanic Ministry held its annual formation day for catechists and missionary disciples on Sept. 14 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Birmingham. Over two hundred participants attended. Bishop Raica started the day with Mass, which was followed by various presentations by religious sisters serving in the diocese, focusing on the importance of being creative and innovative in catechesis while also being people of prayer.
