Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Pell City celebrated First Holy Communion on May 7. Father Bill Lucas is the pastor. Speaking to the First Communicants, Father Lucas explained that even though the day was joyous and highlighted by festivities, they need remember that every day Jesus is received in the Blessed Sacrament should be a day of celebration, for it is a gift from the Lord.
