Parishioners of St. James Catholic Parish in Gadsden spent several weeks celebrating their outgoing pastor, Father Jose Chacko, with lunches, gatherings, and so many moments of gratitude. Each event was a reminder of how deeply he is loved and how much his presence has meant to the parish. One parishioner remarked, “His kindness, his leadership, and his joyful spirit have touched every corner of our community. … (He) will always be part of the St. James family. Go with our prayers, our support, and all our love.”
