Charity golf tournament
St. William Catholic Church’s Knights of Columbus Council 12618 will host its third annual Par4Knights Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, May 19, at Gunter’s Landing Golf Course in Guntersville. This signature charity event will feature 18 holes at the beautiful Gunter’s Landing Golf Course, a hole-in-one contest, longest drive, closest to the pin, putting contest, and much more. The day includes lunch and a deluxe awards reception with door prizes, all in the Gunter’s Landing banquet room.
Last year’s event collected $11,000 for designated charities. This year, the Knights have chosen Marshall County Home Place, Kelly’s Rainbow, and Man-Up Gadsden as recipients of raised funds.
Marshall County Home Place is the only organization in Marshall County that provides free housing for homeless families as well as lifestyle and financial guidance. Kelly’s Rainbow provides protective temporary living quarters for abused women and children, and Man-Up Gadsden is a not-for-profit organization in Marshall County dedicated to the education, prevention, and support services for prostate and testicular cancer patients, family, and community members.
Sponsorships and team registration is currently open.
Gunter’s Landing is located at 1000 Gunters Landing Road. To register or to inquire about sponsorship, please call 256.617.1701 or e-mail Par4Knights@gmail.com.
