Prince of Peace Catholic Church's Hearts and Hammers ministry came together to build a life-changing wheelchair ramp in Center Point for Miss Kay, who was struggling to enter and exit her home. With the help of a walker or wheelchair, she can now navigate her home with ease and independence. The four-hour project was a beautiful display of teamwork, with 16 volunteers from different backgrounds working together. Despite the heat wave, they were blessed with a cloudy morning and ample shade. Deacon Rick Giorgio summed it up perfectly, "It was a great sight to see so many folks with good hearts working together in humble service."
