40 Days for Life Campaign to Begin With Candlelight Vigil

Fall 40 Days for Life Birmingham

On Tuesday, Sept. 21, the traditional candlelight vigil marking the beginning of the fall 40 Days for Life Campaign will take place in front of the Birmingham Planned Parenthood location at 6:30 p.m. This year, over 600 cities will participate. In the last 14 years this international campaign of prayer, fasting and community outreach has had over one million participants, closed over 100 abortion centers, and saved over 17,000 lives.

The official days for the fall event are Sept. 21-Oct. 31 with Birmingham hours from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily. Commit to one hour of prayer on the sidewalk at http://40daysforlife.com/birmingham. Spread the word in your church or community and bring friends and family to pray. Abortion workers who have left their jobs and had a conversion of heart report that when men, women and children are praying in front of an abortion center, the no-show rate for appointments climbs as high as 70 percent.

Join the Birmingham prolife community at 1019 1st Ave., N., in Birmingham. This is a totally peaceful, prayerful, and legal event. For more information go to the local webstie or contact Ed Carrick at ed.carrick@att.net or 205-305-0950.
