Mercy Parish Bless Fest 2026
Most Merciful Jesus Catholic Parish in Madison will hold its 4th Annual Bless Fest from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on both days. In addition to vendors, the event will include family-friendly field activities and games, a fire engine visit, face painting, a dunk booth, and more. Under the entertainment and activities tent, kids can try their skill with the pottery wheel for some hands-on fun and take home a little souvenir. The tent will also feature craft classes and a special visit from Balloon Masterz, making amazing balloon twists. Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase under the dining tent. Natural Family Planning workshop in Spanish
In collaboration with the Couple to Couple League, the Office of Hispanic Ministry will sponsor a Natural Family Planning workshop in Spanish at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Men and women are required to attend together. Padre Pio Prayer Group
The Padre Pio Prayer group of Birmingham will meet at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church beginning with Mass in the chapel at 9 a.m., followed by exposition, the Rosary, prayers to Padre Pio, and Benediction. Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church in Decatur will hold its Grand Kermes from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. This family-friendly community event will feature traditional food, adult sports tournaments, and various children’s activities. As part of the festivities, the parish is hosting a sweepstakes to benefit its New Church Building Initiative. Prizes include a 2025 Kia K4 LX and a $2,500 cash prize. Par 4 Knights Charity Golf Tournament
St. William Parish’s Knights of Columbus Council 12618 will sponsor its annual Par 4 Knights Charity Golf Tournament from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at Gunter’s Landing Golf Course in Guntersville to raise money for designated local charities.
