Camp St. Bernard
St. Bernard Prep will hold is annual summer camp through the month of June, starting with the first week set aside for ages 6-12. The first week will take place May 31-June 5. Week two is open to ages 8-12 and will begin June 7 and continue until June 12. Ages 10-14 are welcome to attend weeks three and four, which will take place June 14-19 and June 21-26, respectively. Parish Yard Sale
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Pell City will hold its annual yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days. Proceeds from the sale will go to fund the parish’s Thanksgiving food drive, the Christmas giving tree, and Food Ministry. All are welcome. The church is located at 4609 Martin Street, South. Seminarian Dinner
Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville will host the second annual Diocese of Birmingham Seminarian Dinner at 6 p.m. in support of the diocese’s Seminarian Education Fund. Seminarians of the diocese and Bishop Raica will be the honored guests. All are invited to attend. JCCHS Summer Nights on the Field
John Carroll Catholic High School in Birmingham will host a Cross Country Team fundraiser at 8 p.m., featuring a movie on the new scoreboard for families to come together and enjoy fellowship at Pat Sullivan Field. Bring blankets for those wishing to sit on the field. Cost is $5 per person and simple concessions will be available for purchase. Gates open at 7 p.m. The team is planning another night on June 26. Commissioning Mass
The diocesan Office of Black Catholic Ministry will sponsor a Commissioning Mass at Our Lady of Fatima in Birmingham at 4 p.m. for individuals committed to the Black Catholic Consortium. Padre Pio Prayer Group
The Padre Pio Prayer group of Birmingham will meet at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, beginning with Mass in the chapel at 9 a.m. Following Mass, the group will take part in exposition, praying the Rosary, saying prayers to Padre Pio, and benediction!
