St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Florian celebrated their pastor, Father Patrick Egan, O.S.B., on Sept. 27 with a St. Michael feast day celebration which included dinner, vespers, and a special visit from Father Egan’s fellow Benedictines, including Abbot Brendan Seipel. Since his arrival last year, Father Egan has spearheaded several improvements to the church. With the help of parishioner Mike Stumpe, Father Egan had new marble flooring installed in the vestibule and restored the hardwood flooring of the sanctuary. The church’s outdoor sign was also replaced.
