Local high school holds induction ceremony
On Tuesday, Sept. 22, St. John Paul II Catholic High School in Huntsville held its annual Bishop David E. Foley Benefactors Society Mass and Induction Ceremony. Father Thomas Ackerman, pastor of Decatur’s Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Parish, and Father Bryan Lowe, pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in Madison, were the celebrants. During the ceremony, Chuck and Theresa Hendrix, John and Juliann Rowe, Chip and Melanie Coakley, Bob and Donna Tamas, David and Liz Butler, and Father Thomas J. Ackerman, were inducted into the society.
The Benefactors Society is a prestigious fellowship of dedicated supporters who have a strong devotion to the mission of St. John Paul II Catholic High School (JPII). The society plays an essential role in fostering a sustainable financial foundation for JPII. Membership honors two key groups: the original founders, whose generosity helped establish JPII and who have continued their generous support over the years, and those individuals who make significant leadership-level contributions to the school annually. Through their generosity, the benefactors help drive the strategic goals and vision of the school.
